The work around the work.
After working at agencies, I became a freelancer. Alongside client work, there was plenty to organise: keeping track of agreements, managing projects and making sure my work was invoiced.
I looked for a tool that brought it all together and fitted the way I worked. That search led me to build it myself. That’s how weeks.work began.
The agreement comes first.
What you agree with a client shapes how you invoice the work. I want that pricing agreement to stay visible in the project and the invoice you create from it.
Sometimes the fee is based on hours. Sometimes it’s a fixed project or monthly fee. With a fixed price, you may still want to know how much time the work takes, without those hours determining the invoice amount. I want that choice to stay yours.
More room to work for yourself.
I believe working for yourself should give you room to do good work, make your own choices and build something of your own. With weeks.work, I want to make the business side of freelancing simpler, from the first agreement to the paid invoice.
